It all begins in the sky. Snow and rainwater, this is the beginning of a long journey, tingeing our forests, mountains and valleys different shades of green, turning Asturias into paradise.
The water begins its long journey from the Sierra de Peña Mayor, at an altitude of 1,250m. It travels along rivers, streams, springs and forests, beginning its filtration beneath the surface of Asturias. A journey over hundreds of years to finally rest in the heart of Paradise.
The secret of Fuensanta is created by the magic of filtration. It has a deep and very slow journey through limestone materials dating back to the carboniferous period. The speed of the water is different when travelling through the mountain and, in the deeper areas, it may only be between half a metre and a metre per year. This filtration gives the water its unique and balanced mineral composition.
After the long journey, the water rests at a depth of more than 300 metres in our aquifer with a geologic age of over 10 thousand years. The water remains unalterable, preserving all its purity and mineralization over centuries.
The water is finally captured in the Balneario de Fuensanta spring and it is bottled directly, without any form of human manipulation, in order to maintain all its purity and mineral properties intact.
Each bottled contains thousands of drops of the miracle of nature and a little piece of the history of our paradise.
Fuensanta originates in the mountains of Asturias and lies dormant 300 metres below the earth’s surface in the centre of Paradise.
